Afterimage is a visual identity for a photography biennale about cities and memory. The system is built from long-exposure light studies of eleven cities, reduced to their electric residue — what stays on the retina after the skyline is gone.

Each edition of the biennale re-shoots its host city and regenerates the palette, so the identity is always a portrait of where it currently stands.
