A typeface is usually a finished thing — drawn, kerned, shipped. Unfinished asks what happens when it never is. Built as a living type system, every glyph carries variable terminals that keep resolving into new forms, so the alphabet you set today is not quite the alphabet you set tomorrow.
A system that keeps drawing itself
We designed the master skeletons and the rules of change, then let the system negotiate the rest. The result is an identity face for institutions that think of themselves as works in progress — archives, schools, cities.

“They gave our collection an alphabet that grows the way the archive does.”
