Drift State is a title sequence for a film about long-haul solitude. Two minutes, one camera move, no cuts — the credits condense out of star fields and dissolve back into them, timed to the breathing of the score.

We built the sequence as a real-time system rather than a render, so every screening drifts slightly differently. The distributor was nervous. The director was not.
