Some organizations are verbs pretending to be nouns. For a performance collective that reinvents itself every season, we built an identity with no fixed logo — only a fixed behavior. The mark is whatever the current work does to the wordmark: stretched by dance, cut by film, blurred by sound.

Identity as choreography

A small rules engine generates each season’s system from three inputs: the program, the venue, the tempo. Nothing is ever off-brand because the brand is the change itself.
